     Figure 1 – Ground Floor plan view of Wembley Stadium.  This view shows the many entrances around the buildings skin creating a circular movement pattern revolving around the center point of the field.  This pattern about the origin of the building allows for optimal movement of costumers.

     Figure 2 – Section Cut through the floor concourses.  This view highlights the arches necessity, not only as an iconic figure but more importantly as a structural component, bearing some of the roof load.  Without this arch, the cantilever roof structure would require vertical members, which would inhibit the views of stadium patrons.

     Figure 3 – Section Cut through the Centerline of Stadium.  Here you can see the great size of the bowl, the uniformity of the seating plan, and the non symmetry between the north (left) side and south (right) side of the building.

     Figure 4 – Building Elevation from the west side of building, looking east.  The roof structure has a slight curve creating a separation between itself and the building structure below.  This discord creates an illusion that the roof and stadium bowl rests above the building and is gently sitting encased in a cylinder.  This draws the eye across the panorama of the building and welcomes viewers.

     Figure5 – Building Elevation from the north side of building, looking south.  This is the view the spectators take to get to the main entrance.  The building rises above the landscape with magnificently as the long sloped ramp pulls the eyes forward.  The arch pierces the air above the building, while the suspension cables create a pattern that crowns this national gem.

Figure 6 – Building Isometric looking southeast towards the centre of London.  This view shows that the pitch/track is significantly lower than the entrance elevation.  Although seeming large as viewers approach the stadium, they are awe struck once in the seating bowl by the true size of the stadium.  The symmetry of the seating pattern focuses on the circle like design of the building seen from the plan, the iconic arch, and the convex curved roof.
